TIBI Run 2011

A run that i never join before...
anyway i think its probably my last event in the december since i didnt join other races...
held on saturday and went with 10...

the race was been around 8km started at Padang Merbuk...
thanks to yong han as i staying in his hostel...
as i and 10 went to the registration area in the morning...

i can see some of the top runner like shahrudin n affindi...
thanks to Aunt as well to taken the bib n register for me...
then having some chat with another top guy that now i quite hard ro beat,Amirul...

the race started at 7.30pm is i not mistaken...
i wasnt really aim to anything just hope to finish within top 10...
but then after 1st km,i found myself to be inside top 10 position...

after all i saw boon,the veteran top guy and suhaimie from upnm...
then i try to catch up with ganeson and suhaimie...
ganeson was abit better and gone further front...

through out the whole route i keep closing with suhaimie and till the last 3km i manage to lead him...
anyway his strategic of following me that last 3km was successful as...
he managed to blew me off at last 500m of which i wasnt really in mood to fight off...

i think that my performance at this run just "ma ma dei" since i wasnt really train well enough...
but i can sense that the upnm guy keep improving and can be a real treat soon...
then taken my 7th placing $ and finish it off at the McD zzz...ha...

and i quickly went to pudu to take off my bus back to Pg as i need to rush to see the home i gonna buy soon...
overall this can be a warm up race for me and to find out my weakness as to improve further...

Nike run 2011

13rd nov i raced in manjung,Perak...

20th nov i supposed to join Penang Bridge Run...

but 1 day before i was told by my AM to work on sunday...

no choice since its an order from him...

its actually good to follow him as hes a very strict guy until i'm kinda scare of him...

so my last sunday been a working+ training day for me...

now i realize in working life sometime u just cant get to control whatever u want...

anyway as compare to my singapore counterpart...

i feel i am more lucky than they...

atleast i have some kind of life i love to go for after my work...

as for they,most probably just a life of work,eat n sleep...

currently i cant say i really in a peak condition...

anyway i manage to hang on my previous 10k sub 37 condition...

i know that to get into elite here i need a sub 35...

its really no easy with my current training,i m getting stuck with it...

i need help...hehe...

going into nike 10k run which the registration like hot cake was something i target for...

anyway i knew that it is no easy to finish within top 3...

we were lucky as Aunt moey was in media...

getting to the front of VIP was totally such an amazing feeling that i never felt be4...

anyway be4 the race start those at the back can have chance to squeeze into front pack as well...

i saw some season runner...

shahrudin,arul,jasni,amirul who i know to be in top contender...

as we went into 500m of the race...

those kenyan came in again...

no choice,their speed damp fast n hard to catch them...

i only can target on amirul and jasni...

while to the km2...

i still can see both of them...

then i get o overtake jasni most prbably slow down due to his chance to get into top3 gone d...

and to the km6 mark...

i saw arul slow down to be with amirul...

anyway at that time i cant really get to close with amirul though hes still within my eye sight...

then suddenly come in richard n the kenyan woman runner...

richard i get to blew him off in around 1km+

while the kenyan woman who lead me damp hard to overtake her...

well not anymore when reach another hill...

lucky i get past her orelse i lost to a gal again...sia suey leh...ha...

the to the final km suddenly come in yip...

the final 900m need some hill run up...

yip just speed up so fast n i cant get to catch him...

anyway i knew hes in men over 25 group...

overall i'm quite satisfied with the time achieve which was 37min34sec...

kinda way off my kotr pb...

but i was happy with the 5k=18min i achieved in this half hilly course...

may be last 5km really need to buck up...

to my dismay was i get in the 4th position which i initially thought can get to finish behind amirul...

and get to the 2nd...

reality told me its not...as 2 kenyan were in same group with me...

amkan lo...

anyway sylvia was 4th as well...

so as shahrudin...

afterward went to aunts house n having lunch with ban mian...

must really thanks them for treating us again...

ting went to pavilion for her custom made adi shoes...

then with 10 went to sg wang to cut hair...

the day come in so short and v both back to genting again...

though she may be kinda quiet but i hope shes not alone...

i will always with her no matter whats going on...

not bad her condition at the moment...

only abit lazy i can say...haha...

Powerman 2011

be4 i start the powerman 2011,i been raced 1week be4 this race in my Pg hometown...

i actually saw the race that will be held in my primary school in Permatang Pauh...

its so happened that she celebrate the 75 year anniversary...

initially wanted to join men open de...

anyway to the last min i changed to alumni category which is 5km compare to men open 10km...

came back late mid nite with 1 0...

i think is around 2.30am v reached...

after changed to alumni category,my chances of winning higher jor...

anyway it wasnt follow the way i would like to...

theres no 5km mark...marshal dun even noe where the 5km mark...

only 10km mark...

n i lead all d way...

so i noe that i gonna get into deep trouble liao...

no choice...all d way i cant see any 5km mark...

so i just follow the pack...keep overtook ppl...

finish the 10km route...

i just told the race technical person...

anyway he seem cant do anything...

the guy who initially follow my back got 3rd placing though he ran wring route little bit...

his wife keep complaint to the organiser n eventually got to her wish of getting 1st placing...

me?9th...

let just hope its just another lesson for me or for the organiser?...

i ad told them if next year they want do it again better make sure all the road sign mark been clearly marked...

Powerman 2011

This race i been love to join since last year...

anyway i wasnt finished good enuff during last year of which getting 7th...

at that time i still run in pain mode of my injury...

this year suppose i can finish stronger than last year...

anyway i still wasnt really confident esp in my cycling leg...

i dont do alot of cycling training...

may be each week once of twice with the training period 20-30mins only...

as i know that my 32km cycling route may used me up to 1hour time to finish if u not fit enuff...

then early morning of that saturday,chau ad reached lumut...

as for myself i only reached at around 8pm+...

with moey family n chau ad check in the hotel room...

having some chat with chau and later is with moey family...

the next morning v just walk to the race location is just behind our hotel...

can see quite alot of participant this year around...

my sprint race started at 7.30 if i no mistake...

my 1lap of run quite well...

only 2 guys i lost out is Mr Mark william n the upnm fler...

another guy infront of me...but forget d...

anyway whn get inside cycling leg...

i was cycling with my normal routine n cadence of around 90rpm ba...

to my dismay the bike meter that i set up early morning got failure again...

cheap cateye is like that liao...

whn i reach around 10+km mark i was overtook by the eventual women champion,Radka...

tried to follow her some distance before get caught by big group behind us...

inside the group quite alot of elite...

so as upnm's chan...

i cant do anything but just to follow the whole group till the end...

i can sense that this time around my bike time will get to improve couple of mins...

and the speed along the way with this group is much or less 36-38km/h if mistaken by my own interpretation...

then came back for running leg...

initially i ad in leading position...

anyway suddenly 1 thai guy come in and follow me n overtook just front of me...

i though i still got chance to sapu him back at the final km...

anyway my thinking is wrong...

when Mark william came in at our back to overtake us...

this thai guy just so clever to follow his speed and make same gap between me n him...

and this gap just make me become harder and harder to get close to him...

eventually mark william gone much more ahead as i cant even saw him...

the thai guy finished within 1min front of me...

by finished in 3rd in my 2nd attempt of sprint category was quite a satisfied performance i can be proud of...

anyway i still need to improve my bike leg which provide to be a very weak link...

having our buffet lunch during the award lunch...

the lucky draw ceremony seem like some kind of diff setting with the initially calling the no....

anyway till the last part is some kind of questionaire...haha...

n i managed to gave 10cent as requested by the organiser in such a hurry mode...

a brooks shirt was what i got while black so lucky to get tri suit!nice...

then v back at 3.30pm with the tranational bus...

that initially cant c any place for us to put in our bike...

but the driver just so helpful to rearrange those baggage...

n v get to put in 2 bike in such a compact area...

Most Tough Race

I have been waiting 4 this moment very long ago...

its not easy for me to travel such long distance for this race...

i been dream to join it just like Kl towerthon ever since when i studied at form3...

n yday i managed to do it...

oh...i cant describe that feeling when reaching to the top...

first n foremost i am really thanks God of what i had been achieved...

never been be4 i heart so many stories regarding this race...

some other people failure of reaching the top been some kind of scaring me...

i knew that being first timer it wouldnt been an easy task...

this time i actually go along with Chau...

anyway due to his test...

i went alone to KK...

kinda lil bit of scare...

anyway with the help of my civil coursemate,Roni...

i managed to travel from airport to the terminal van area...

anyway...duno y,i think is God wanna test my mental or physical strength...

early morning when i travelling using genting bus...

n when reaching titiwangsa station...

my sudden stand up from the seat make my knee unexpectedly feeling so pain...

especially the knee 'saraf' area...

is something like my knee saraf been dislocated...

dam uncomfortable when walking so as running...

then i try to do all kind of stretch workout...

not much diff as well...

even the nite be4 the race the pain still thr until the race start same feeling as well...

walao eh...no choice i dun wan my whole journey finishing just like that...

Roni treated my Sabah dim sum at around 4pm at saturday...

due to the chartered van will depart to Kinabalu park at 5pm...

we have to rush...

the dim sum quite nice,though Roni saying that Sabah food nowaday not cheap anymore...

then went to the terminal van area n by paying rm15 can reach to the park ad...

the van waited until 5.30pm only departed...

Along the route is almost the hill condition...

in Sabah 6pm is almost as dark as 7pm in peninsula here...

Roni said that is our former PM,Dr Mahathir who change the time same with peninsula last time...

along the route theres quite alot of lorries...

hence make it our journey become slower than estimated 1hour30min...

we eventually used up 2hours30mins to reach kinabalu park...

by the time we reach ad 7.30pm+...

i m lucky as inside the van i met with 2indonesian who study in kl join this race...

n stay in same mountain resthouse with me as well...

then when we reach briefing area been told the briefing finish before 7pm as it started 6pm...haiz...

3 of us after that went to collect the bib...

both the guy name Riyadi n Riki...

only Riyadi join,he need to pay rm130 as foriegner...mine been collected my Pmtey...

Thanks him alot...

after that we walk back to hostel just 100m from kinabalu park entrance...

i was told to pay rm50 for that nite...

anyway i was lucky to find another person to share another bed n only to pay rm25,ha...

then 3of us went to eat fried rice front of Kinabalu park cost us rm6 each...

very fast the time is 10pm+...

another woman,a tourguide who stay same room with me as me when i going back...

5pm next day i saying...

she open up her eyes...

asking me sure bo???

coz she says its almost impossible to get back to KK town since i may use up >6hours to finish the race...

due to her experience as a tourguide...she said some of those hiker may use up until 10pm nite to reach the top...

i reply that will tray my best to finish in time lo...

n hopefully i wont get to miss my flight enuff...ha

as early 4am i wake up at sunday....

dam cold the water there...

then when i reach Kinabalu park ad around 4.50am...

theres a shuttle bus that bring us up to the starting point which 3,4km from our departure area...

very lucky to find an empty seat...

find out that is uncle Moey beside me...

relieve...

coz now i have a helping star(jiu4 xing4)ad...

y i say so...

coz hes the one who competed at saturday and noe the hill condition...

so be4 the start...

uncle have given me some tips which i think that quite useful...

met with Pmtey as i really salute him come all the way from kl just to snap photoes of us...

then see those STAR Runner,like Kilian...

as well as season runner in KL,Affindi n Jasni...

uncle joking that before i want beat thos star runner,i need beat our local runner first hehe...

race start 7am sharp and its already quite bright the surrounding...

the first 5km route is where i try out my strength to run n climb(staircase)as fast possible...

as said by uncle after around 1hour the chance to run fast almost impossible...

when i reach Layang layang station i saw my watch ad 49mins...

then reach to the rock(liitle bit)area...

ad can feel the hardness to climb...

at that time Jasni overtook me...

while in a later time i overtook Affindi who look so tired most probably due to his fast start...

then we reach to the final 1.5km of rock area...

i left around 1hour...

fuh...dam hard at that time...

jasni saying that is quite hard to finish before 2hour30min of the cut off time...

i really scare at that time...

i dun want to be categorised the rest 95% of one of the website said of those who cant reach the peak each year...

i keep walking non stop though both leg really cant sustain...

i m quite lucky that i didnt have any weather changing illness as may be suffered by others...

then i keep looking at my watch for the final 2,3mins...

i keep push n push...

finally reach to the top area...

the feeling at that time just cant be described!

thanks God i have finally make it! 2hour 30min is the time! Ngam ngam hou!

i feel so so thought of being able to conquer this highest mountain in Southeast Asia...

then i managed to taken photo with a Mat saleh...

anyway i duno where to get back that valuable photo...haiz...

quickly i grab the green check point band n return down...

running down wasnt my strong point...

and was keep overtaken by those people behind me...

nevermind i just let it be...

as long i finish safely will be enough...

dam pain when going down...

when i saw the watch i saw my time going to reach 4hour30mins cut off time...

dam scare...since uncle moey said that if i finish after that time,you wont get to be timed in their time sheet...

luckily i finish in time 6,7mins before the qualifying time...

Pmtey shouted my name loudly when i crossing the line...hehe

when i saw uncle stand on the middle of finishing line taken my photo...

again...

with jasni,affindi showing the green wristband that being rated so 'valuable'

i cant describe that feeling...

feel really happy with what i have achieved...

really happy though just a finisher...

then taken quite alot of photoes by Pmtey,really thanks him...

both my leg really cant tahan ad esp the downhill part make it the worst...

was behind jasni n affindi few mins...

then we having lunch buffet which time at 12.30pm+...

no choice as i need to rush back early so miss out the prize presentation of those elite...

lucky that when i reach to the front of the entrance of Kinabalu park...

theres a chartered Kembara waiting for last person...

paid rm20 and used me 1 n half hour to reach KK town where i get to meet my uni fren again...

then he brought me to their culture market n i managed to buy some sounvenir as well the local food there...

he said that quite "sayang"i come here in such a hurry or else will bring me to more interesting places...

i managed to get to the flight that schedule at 5.10pm...

i thought that i still can get back to Genting when reach Kl sentral...

anyway i was wrong with the traffic jam happened in Sepang F1 Circuit there...

and i get to see the news of the dead of Simon an Italian Rider in Moto GP there...

RIP for him...he actually same year with me...

overall this is a nice outing for me though being alone...

but i get to sense that we must do what we dream and want to...

dont just easily getting distract away by other illusion...

time wont get to wait us...

i'm again so happy to be the 25th edition as well the last edition managed to get to the peak of Gunung KK...

hopefully i can get that pic snap with Mat salleh 1day...

Dunno since when i can lough so happy like the pic below again..ha...

Setback

Its been 3years i have tried...

nothing been changed even till this year...

the situation is still the same...

until today i still thinking why i cant get more flers joining with me...

mostly likely is my failure of my talent searching programme during uni time ba...

this event sometime if not all the time you nid some ppl to support...

is not easy to race against a big group who try to prevail u away from their leader...

the pressure is getting tence series by seires...

after all i cant get to sustain at the final part...

i only have myself to be blamed of...

after all that place is one of my favourite...

but i cant do anything at that day...

after all when i finish the race n back home...

i'm thinking how come i wont be able to respond in time...

y...y...

2 deadly mistake that i shouldnt make n avoid ad appeared in my mind...

1 is during 2nd series;1 is last series...

nvmd let it be is what i can say now...

getting ppl salute is one of the best part i gaining...

anyway breaking the strong wall is what i hope for...

may be laotian is fair enuff dun wan me to keep reaching another new high...

time will wash away all these...

Racer feeling

well...duno y i have some special feeling regarding this new racer that i wearing now...
its light enough to spur me further...
its quiet enough to help me killing others...
n its good enough to lift me to the podium...

i actually kinda forgot d when is d first race i wear it...
if not mistake is during Klang run4it...
that race i gt 4th which i remember sapu quite a few fler that i lost to them be4 this...hehe...

d shoe wont give u heat anyway...
its very flexible...
almost like a Nike lunar racer gua...though i never wear any nike shoe be4...

once a while i will use it for training...
and its really nice for training as well...
as for today when training i wear it...

kinda feel that i can fly...
quite ridiculous that i describe it...hehe...
anyway i think this most probably 1 of the best racer i ever wear...

though initially when i first wanna buy this shoe...
i have some kind of feeling that it wont really last long as compare to my Adizero mana that ad wear 4year+...
as looking at it lower part which consist partially of rubber material...

now after around 5races i been gone through...
i believe its a right shoe that i have bought...
i been since few year believe in Brooks...

ever since i started wear the Radius 7 which now convert to Ghost series...
this shoe is really nice n comfortable...
everyday i wear it to kuliah during my uni life...

at 1time i use it for training after my training shoe become lesser...
the shoe just feeling perfect during training...
u wont easily get injury whn wearing it...

so far apart frm my major accident of which right foot thumb hit the ground...
i hardly getting anykind of running injury...
the shoe been playing very great role of helping me go through this...

as compare to other training shoe i wore be4,such as NB,Reebok,Puma...
this Radius 7 just topple all of them...
so now i get the confident to buy its racer series...

after getting discount voucher at Orange run at the curve...
i came back again to that shopping centre to get it racer...
theres another racer known as T3 if not mistaken...

but in d end i didnt choose it...
that racer been in d market for quite some time...
but this green silent just out in Msia recently...

d color that i chose is quite striking...
kinda like a start ad...
but i hate it...

its like a giving u extra pressure of winning a race...
to my surprise this pressure has lead to my 1st winning of the year so far...ha...
duno y after that UPM muds...

i thought that i cant really perform d...
anyway that sat nite my leg didnt feel any tireness...
and till the next day sunday morning feeling like normal as well...

as i didnt put much hope in the race...
may be its 1 of the factor...
so now this brooks has helped me getting another needed in time hiking shoes...

i went to the garden and get to see this Adidas outdoor Plein Air...
the price not that exp...
and the weight ngam ngam can be wear for my climbathon...

now ad wearing it for 1 week for working...
not bad the feeling...
but i can say the feel still not that good as compare to the Radius7...

so hopefully this adidas can help me something as well...

MUDS 2nd series N Adidas KOTR

This leg is held in UPM...

a series that i quite fear of...

due to its fast track course around it...

before this,i always cant do well in this series...

never be4 i get inside top 2 in this series...

anyway after the UPNM series...

i confident of getting myself among top finisher...

anyway i have to be wary of my main challenger from UPNM...

be4 d race i have told Chau n Wong regarding the strategic...

anyway its wasnt really work out for them...

Chau esp out of top 5 after the race...

its quite dissapointed for him n myself after all hes 2nd in UPNM leg...

anyway i get to stay myself within the first race pack...

which consist of few UPNM flers,as well as Chan...

it not easy esp d bike leg...

Chan attck at the end hill area which let him to drag away me around 40m...

and during the final run he keep push for the final run...

the gap still not close enough for me to overtake him...

and 2 UPNM guys keep closer with me and its quite a bit pressure for me...

for the final meter,i just couple secs behind him...

i think thats all i can do...

wasnt really dissapointed...

have to thanks Chau for delivering us to the race location 4 second times...

evening went shopping with her...

then at nite we all 7flers stay in Duta Vista that provided by Chau Dad due to some point redeem...

quite a nice place to stay...

next time can consider that place provided we come in a big pack...

the next day is Adidas King of the Road that being canceled last year...

i remember that my Adizero Mana was bought 4years ago if no mistake with the Adi voucher i won at that time...

this racer had served me quite well...

only until recently i changed to my current Brooks greensilent...

i have to say this brook racer is not bad as well eventhough i just use it for around 5races...

Adidas KOTR been divided to 16.8km and 10km...

i and Y.Han joined 10km,the rest take part in 16.8km...

i wasnt really target anything in this race due to the day be4 MUDS i had raced...

anyway when the race was started...

i get myself inside the front pack...

was surprise just to see Jasni and Wong.Jye both of them...

then when we reached around 2km + come in Rich Habeya and 2Semenyih Indian guys...

5 of us stay within a group till around 4km+ and left 3 of us...

that 2 Indian guys set the pace...

i just keep following,knowing that their strength almost like mind...

i just keep it on with my normal running style and pace...

then when reach 7km+ another indian fall behind...

left me and the orange vest indian guy...

his speed quite strong and i just stay close with him...

even until the last 400m hes still at my front...

i knew that to overtake him at the distance wasnt a good idea...

looking at my condition at that time...

anyway i brave myself to overtake him at last 200m...

and it works well,he just couldnt catch up...

and finish behind me 5sec+...

and i was looking at my watch the time i set...

unbelievable...

its long i targeting 10km under 37mins...

and today i did it...

really happy with it...

i cant describe my feeling at that time...

then to add to the happiness is my 1st place finishing in this year races...

i have to say this year is one of my fruitful year ever...

think is mostly due to my job surrounding and training facilities...

eventhough train myself...

i knew thats not easy...

i wont be that easy give up...

will always strengthen my mental...

the prizes given were very attractive...

its my best ever prizes received so far in my running career...

1k cash with 1k voucher along with the adi spec n watch...

i think all those were well over 3k...

have to thanks Aunt moey for taking d bib for me...

without them i cant get to join the race as i didnt receive email from race organiser...

thanks to my 1 ^0^support as well...

as well as my kakithoner frens support...

MUDS 2011 1st series

Actually i didnt really put any aim for this event...
coz my main intention is to get both chau n wong to be on podium...
yet oni 1 of them get to the top5...

1st series was in UPNM...
a place which any1 of us frm UTM ever win before...
this time UTM being represented by 3 of us oni...

have to thanks chau for taken 4 of us along with 3bike inside his nissan sentra to UPNM...
we didnt manage to get hostel in uni thr...
so have to wake up early on sat...

this year d running road been changed to 1 lap instead of last year 3laps that appeared to be confusing...
saw amirul,edan,iskandar and many season faces...

then the starting which quite fast i can say...
anyway i managed to catch up with the front pack after around 300m of running...
then stay close to edan who i noe very fast in his running recently...

then come into cycling part...
that i trial behind 1 team cyclist...
n i knew the UPNM guy will very soon catch me up...

thru out the 3 laps i managed to stay with them...
yet chau been little bit behind in the 2nd pack...
its been in a quite comfortable position when i started my 2nd run...

then i managed to stay the gap that lead me to the 1st position in this grueling UPNM campus...
i thought chau was coming at the back of 1,2 UPNM fler...
anyway he told me getting 2nd position...

i m glad he managed to get that position after trying for the 2nd year...
Wong i think was within top20 position as he still getting to recover frm seremban run...
overall i was happy with the outcome n hopefully chau can get better n better...

Kluang Run 2011

Never been at Kluang before though been staying at Johor for 4years...
As usual i need to finish my work at 5pm on saturday...
This time went with Yien wei,Chau and Tareef...

yien wei came all d way from spore...
they all reached at around 7pm...
i reached at 11pm+...

then we stay in Hotel 68 mainly due to its price of Rm68...
having some nite chat with yien wei...
been long didnt chat with him...

those 2 guys seem cant tahan that both of us keep talking ha...early morning we wake up as early 4am...due to the bib not taken...
its used us around 10mins to walk to starting point...

being d first timer of this Majlis Kluang organiser...
i can say alot of thing they need to get to improve...
registration counter is one of the mess at there...

then come to the half marathon being first to start...
very few people who come to join...
with there already around 10kenyan at front...

women category lagi kesian...
around 20 women joining n half of them from Sg runner...
imagine with the prizes top20 up for grab...

10km start after that...
after scan thru...
i knew that top5 is out of my contention...

my possible rank will be 6th...
anyway thru until the 4km benchmark...
i was overtook by a malay guy...

actually at that time i can sense that my condition wasnt really good ad...
some more when reach half way to the U turn...
i can see Chau just some fews secs behind me...

which totally from my Klang Run 4it condition...
i can say that this is one of my slowest race thru out july till now...
anyway my chances to catch up with the malay guy n Ong Chin seem to be gone ad...

though they just front of me 50m but the condition never really change...
till the final km the condition still d same and i didnt realy hope for any miracle...
and Ong chin started to overtake the guy...

now the guy front of me around 30m...
and to the final 200m i try my luck to sprint all d way...
to my surprise i get thru with him n manage to cross d line front if him in around 3secs...

wow...i cant believe it...
been very long i not having such kind of sprinting finish...
i think the guy must be very bey siok ad...

so i earn few hundred which can help me to ease some burden to this trip n belanja...
then we went to Tangkak beef shop that famous for it beef noodles...nice...
back to the bus terminal and to mysurprise all d bus ticket finished...

no choice but have to travel down to jb...
anyway when i reached jb also same condition...haiz...
final way is to buy direct ticket up genting...

having some dinner meal with kakithiners...
its nice to see them after some times...
hopefully next time i really prepare for those kind of early finish bus ticket...

Klang Run4it 5

A race which i never join and been joined by Kakithoner few times ad...

anyway this year i have got more free time hence decided to join...

a lil bit far from KL which is Klang...

have to Thanks aunt Moey for fetching us to there...

so to get into the top3 target almost fading away liao...

then come another 3 indian fler and chau as well...

wao...his speed not bad today can follow till this distance...ha

left 5 of us after 4,5km+...

this indian yooung fler quite good at his speed...

i duno who he is...

after the water station i get to blew him away...

and through d remaining just my one man running...

but i also noe that 1 indian fler keep a close distance behind me...

hes the senior veteran champ...

finished in 45min+,i thought it was little under distance,may be around 200m...

some foods were provided...

accompany with her,since i noe she may be lil boring ba by being camera person...ha

then prizes presentation...

today quite happy with outcome...

as i get to better 2,3person who i hardly beat them before...

they are the 5th and 6th position guy and senior veteran champ,Rama...

then v went to Midvalley...

n back to my place around 8pm ad...

Training

Actually during this Puasa month quite boring since no racing out thr...

anyway its been a good measurement for me to take some rest time...

and to monitoring my progress...

training has become routine...

problem is only to make oneself become better and better...

which i think for a self training athlete been quite tough i can say...

anyway i wont give up just due to such reason...

so far quite happy with all the progress...

especially with my most hate n love training program, interval session...

i knew that this session is very crucial...

alot of ppl r scare of it...

to do it well u only can keep training it...

then when u go thru many session of it u will getting love it...

well i must say that this session is quite dangerous as well...

if u dun really care of it,injury can be quite easily happen to u...

hopefully what i plan in this August can become really useful n meaningful for me...

Sunday shopping

A meaningful weekend with d love one...

Everything that i done just to make sure happiness always surround us...

though was asked by casey 4 d replacement of his team...

went 2 shopping centre in Klang valley...

its been long she didnt go shopping ha...

watched rise of planet of Apes...

i would like to say not a bad movie...

but the beginning part gonna be a lil bit boring...

its some kind of reminding that we human should not destroy those animal and their life...

especially those endanger species...

went back at nite then others call us up for vision city game...

duno y...my luck been so good that i keep on getting 200 tickets...

for that aim/shooting machine...

i earn almost 1k tickets ha...

then 4 of us change d gift which 3 of them are cartoon doll...

Pg Chinese Cross Country 2011

I been waitet 4 dis moment quite few year ler...

since i entered uni 4 yrs ago...

anyway i dun get to join coz of the distance need travel...

this time i grab d chance as d distance is closer...

i went along with wong...

reach home ad around 1am+...fuh...

then having mum homemade kuey tiao th'ng...

slept 4 around 3hr+ then wake up ler...

lucky wong say his condition ok...ha

since its a all chinese run...

i knew that its good to gauge my position in pg here...

though i m penang lang yet i think nt much know that i frm here hehe...

be4 d race i knew 2 guys will be better thn me alot...

so i just tried to push behind them for around 4km...

then they fading away...

anyway i was caught up by 4th runner who come frm same team...

i knew that my condition/time was lost to him in recent race...

then another junior veteran who also very geng...

in kl races i ad lost to him twice...

hes even faster thn ong chin...

anyway today duno y...

i just can blew him away ha...

finish in 35min+...i think is around 9.4km+-

quite happy abt my position...

wong push all d way to finish 9th...

then leg start to trouble him liao ha...

after i gt 2 noe my time was jus 1min20secs+ adrift frm 1st n 2nd runner...

this is something good n i will try to catch them soon...

then prizing ceremony...

n d most unexpected was d grandprize for lucky draw...

won by us!...

really cant believe it...

i joined so long very/hardly win any lucky draw de...

so this time can b said double happiness lo...

back all d way from my work place to hometown...

really thanks god...n chung ling dis lucky place ha...

after all i n wong rush back to KL at 3pm...

quite alot of thing we discuss in buses...

now its time to get back my normal routine ler...

Fruitful Weekend

As usual went down to Kl for d 4consecutive weeks...

this time i went to the curve first with wong...

after looking at some reviews...

i decided to take up Green silence...

shhhhhhh...

i hope it can serve me long haha...

then went to chau house again...

chau hse been my hotel for many times ler this month haha...

then sunday early morning Uncle Moey came fetch us...really thanks them again...

Bukit Jelutong,Shah Alam is d place we r heading...

after all not much people taking part...

i can see my biggest challenger is Jason Loh...

anyway we in diff category...

finish d race in 40min+ i think almost 10km sharp...

come hilly route...overall a nice place to run coz less traffic...

got some adidas goodies...

so as Sylvia,Chau n Wong...

then Uncle treat us again...cinya kam siah him la...ha

reach my hostel in around 4pm d...

head for swimming...

think is a nice recovery workout ba...

feeling

everyday i get to learn new thing and keep jolting down in my notepad...

its actually very interesting part of this job...

and i going to reach 2months of my job here...

working here,staying here,playing here been quite a satisfaction 4 me...

d only thing i'm kinda sad is not accompany by my uni fren who i miss alot...

anyway life still have to go on...

whenever i meet kind of ppl who only look at what benefit he/she will get...

Orange Run 2011

A race that i wasnt really satisfied with my timing...

though i was upgraded to 7th frm last year 10th...

but time was slower 1min 30secs...wth...

this year some of my kakithoners join other races in melaka and Klang centro...

they got very impressive results...

i and chau went for this race...

slept in his house again...

really thanks him...

actually i hope to beat this chinese guy name wong jj...

coz i lost to him last week...

but this week lost 2 chinese guy pulak...

i really need to buck up...

after race met with kelvin yew...

a new fren...

then taken goodie bag and prizes...

went on to brooks,ikea n 1u...

i thought of buying brooks races...

but no action yet...most probably this week ba...

McD Run 2011

A race which i didnt put much hope...

i knew that alot of indian fler will come to cari makan...

anyway this year got another group category also...

stay in chau's house 1 night...thanks to him...

then sunday morning went along with Moey family...thanks them as well...

when we came in already quite late as alot of people r queuing in quarantine area...

no choice,i wong and gan keep pushing to go front...

till the last drop of our pushing power...

our gap with front runner still quite far behind...

starting i keep cutting and cut...

think i use around 2km to cut all those fler...

actually i'm quite confident through out whole running...

i knew that what i have trained will benefit me alot...

and it proved out today...

whn finished i got 6th...

little bit disappointed...anyway happy with my performance...

d race was well organized...

then suddenly Aunt Moey call me said i been got 4th...

dam happy...duno what to say...

thanks god is what i hope to say at that moment...

got d $ and mc d voucher spent to buy gcb at sogo with ting,chau n wong...

later thought of buying mizuno racing shoes at thr...

anyway no more stock...quite disappointed...

then went to garden...

3 of us bought adidas bag,sock,shirt,pant...

back to hostel at around 6pm...

ktm...really lousy...try avoid it is what i can say...

Work and orientation

i've been in charge of FWH lobby cafe recently...

quite interesting i can say...

since the place is quite small and i get to learn new thing everyday...

under guidance of Mr.F i try to absorb as much i can for the C&S part...

then monday i was called by boss,Mr C to his office...

actually i like to be called by him...

think i getting "sot sot" d ba...ha...

no doubt his chatting with me is something very nice and motivating...

he wants me to learn thing in a proper and systematic way...

alot of thing we talked and a lot of valuable advice been given by him...

all these wont be actually given by other people in other industry of department...

where got people so free and so nice to tell u all these thing to survive and do well in your work...

i'm really appreciate and thankful what he told me...

i will always remember and self motivated myself for better tomorrow everyday...

i really felt gifted to have such a nice boss...

no matter how i wont easily give up and will try my best to catch up with my senior...

erm lets talk a little about my friends in spore...

deep inside my heart...i dun really feel comfortable with them...

apart from Mr L,other no 1 is contacting with me...

being frens for 4 years...now i get to realize people change tremendously right after they change to new surrounding...

atleast u can contact me with ur new spore hp no....

no...not any 1 of them doing so...

yeah may be in fb we can contact,yet the least thing u can do is use ur sg no to let me noe ur new no.

meeting new frens frm diff department...

its nice and getting to noe more about my company...

now i noe that my career prospect here is good enough...

i must really thanks god for all these...

Mixed Feeling

jus finished Penang Hill Climb...
being defending champ wasnt easy for me to continue the quest...
some more that morning having heavy downpour...

wong joined me along as well...
i knew that hes also specialist in this all d way climb up challenge...
i reached home ad at 12 mid nite...

actually i wasnt feeling well as i having sore throat 2 days be4 and still recovering...
no choice what to do...
anyway in the first 2km flat road i ad in top 3...

with au yong in front quite far,i think around 40secs+
in this kind of race if u let ur challenger going too far at flat area...
u gonna die very soon...

anyway through out all d way i was in 2nd till finish...
cant c au yong...haiz...
i hope that wong can get into 3rd since its his maiden race here...

anyway hes so unlucky to get 4th with a mere 30secs behind d 3rd guy...
actually i got 2 feelings...
sad coz i cant get to defend d title...

happy coz i being 1st time run all d way up non stop...
but very strange that my time was slower...
happy as well for wong being first timer ad can break into 50min barrier...

hope up coming races will be better in shape...

disappointed...
at 1st i hope to advance to 2nd round or final round at d event...
yet i and han failed to achieve it...

what to do...
only have ourselve to be blamed of...
coz in both push up and sit up we cant get to achieve over 40 counts...

before the game i ad expected that we should achieve this lvl only can go through the qualifying round...
what can i say...
anyway i hope to learn from this after all...

its a good lesson for me and han...
we will try our best next time...
perhaps not in kl...

after that went for body check...
showing that my body less fat percentage...
walau..lim peh de body not bad leh...

12nd june i joined penang komtar run...
with wong...
finished in 8th position...

ahead of ah beng who beat me at towerthon 30secs...
wong 1 min behind...
quite satisfied with my results...

anyway out of my initial target top 5 ...
abit dissappointed...
then back to genting at that nite...

yesterday nite i was invited by willy wong to his niece party...
kinda life buffet party...got some lok lok and satay...
then u noe la...site worker no beer sure kenot de...

aiyah...initially i sit with logi n ravin anyway...
after around half an hour was called by my senior ong...
to sit with those big guy...

fuh...no choice...since i m freshman need to pei them...hehe...
first i cheer with my department boss Mr CSY...
then my senior as well Mr F...

then Ong bring me to the department mechanic senior...
all around 3 of them...
by that time i ad finished >5 glasses of tiger...

abit partially drunk ad...
first time i being like that...
anyway i still can control my mind...

then suddenly i walk outside to car park...
and i saw boss was beside a car...
then we start to chat...

alot of thing been told by him...
and i get to understand the whole situation...
hes been so great to do all these a while...

which actually to make a nice career ahead of me...
must really thanks him...
his expectation toward me is high...

and i promise wont give up easily and will continue of what he told me...
i noe that its not easy to get to that place...
but with his help my work been halve completed...

now i cant say that decision to work here is the best...
but atleast i can be sure of myself what i m doing is the best out there as compare to my other fren...

no doubt i still think my advantage over here not losing any of them...

i must say that this is my major as well my kakithon teamate major achievement of the year...
actually be4 the race we all didnt really expect to win it hehe...
anyway with all the strength and confidence we fight until the last gasp...

and thanks god we manage to topple the race favourite indian team...
we got 49laps as compare to them 48laps...
all the members trying so hard to lift our position...

really thanks them alot as well as zaheen brothers,thaqif and ther family members support...
so as Moey family moral support...
the fact i wasnt in my best condition as well as chau and wong...

got worried me little bit...
anyway i knew that they are mature enough to tackle all those thing...
talking little bit about my work in genting highland...

i ad work for 3 days...
the good thing is i can enjoy whatever provided up there..
such as free meal,swimming pool,gym,pub,sing k ,and many more...

the bad 1 is my work require me to work at saturday and sunday...

being freshman i must tahan...

Weekend trip in Purajaya

Friday nite i reached yong han hostel...
we had nice chit chat till midnite...
next day morning we trio include ting going Putrajaya for the 5km fun run...

it offer cash till top 10...
looking at the starting line up...
hopeless...

for the 1st time in a race lost to 4 women...
jiak sai liao la...

nvmd i leave it coz my focus in the next day which is sunday Ekiden Run...
finished my 5.5k in 21min+wasnt a gud time...
then sunday morning...

i went along with Jasni's motorbike to wait near Tasik Titiwangsa...
now i realise the so call titiwangsa training ground of Venugopal and Shahrudin...
then we both weent along with Amelia Police waja hehe...

first time chit chat with her...
quite nice hehe...
being 2 nd runner in Jasni team...

yo...so lousy again...
in the end when i pass my 'baton'to Murali...
i am head to head with UPNM Blackie...

so diao...my running speed getting worst???
nvmd now i having cofident to bounce back...

Casey finished strongly to get us in 1st...

KL towerthon and Bomba Run

well these 2 races been stick together in 2 days time...
towerthon is at night while bomba run at next morning...
this year towerthon initially i prepare well...

anyway till the month of april...
my race schedule all been gone and not plan as what i need to go through...
y i saying so...

as i really need to focus in my fyp...
any how my troublesome leg problem occur back again...
so suey!...

hence i wasnt really run at all for the whole month...
in fact i train the staircase for once or twice nia in april...
really bad...no running as well...

wong been train really hard toward this events...
congratz him for getting an improved results and faster than me 1 sec haha...
anyway after getting through this year timing,i am so frustrated for not training ...

if i put little extra in my training,i m confident of going further...wth...
nevermind ler..
some hoe lim also feel dissapointed due to his hard work of training all burst...

all because of his strategic not welly planned...
loh got 16th if no mistake not bad for the first timer...
the next day is bomba after we slept at yong han hostel at 2.30am hehe...

well this event i dont put any hope inside since its a grand major event for those indian guys...
finished in 22th,4km/min pace wasnt fast but looking at my current condition...

here's surrounding is much better than other uni...

i like to explore...
n i can proudly say that i have almost gone through all d places in here...
after all when i competed recent MTB races which open my eyes alot inside my uni jungle...

infact i hope to further to stay in here for a little bit more while hehe...
but time is not allow me doing so...
i dun wan c both dad mum working so hard out thr...

jus completed my 3rd exam n left 1 more thn i can say bye bye UTM liao...

all of us noe that Ocp is d killer panel...

i need to brave myself ...
after all i practise twice of my presentation...

luckily i'm not the first 1...

i saw ler also noeing its wrong...haiz...
then come to Uncle...si uncle no facing any problem la...

JB Petrosains Run

Erm this weekend i ended up with 2 races in a row...

saturday is Green run in plaza Pelangi while today is Petrosains Run...

both in jb...

its been long i didnt join any run...

jb also quite alot small scale run i miss alot gua...

anyway all mostly due to my psm...

damn busy with it...

somemore this tuesday i going to have my presentation...

scare...scare...

saturday green run just a disappointment for me...

jus 1 more placing to get top 5...

aiya the 3 Arul thevar geng member come n sapu the top 3...

even subramaniam d top brooks club just get 4th...

5th duno who,indian oso...

anyway i cant complain more about it since my poor condition...

ad 1 week+ didnt train any run...

luckily this 1 jus 3.9km...

time wasnt good or bad just my normal pace...

then we both back by using public bus in JB city square.

today run participant lesser thn geen run...

and i can see my challenger wasnt that strong compare d kl geng...

initially i was along with lim kor hoping we both to finish in top 2...

anyway till d half way lim kor was passed by a malay guy...

i think my psm(Final year project) is where i touch the most in these few weeks...
its very important to me especially during my presentation...
i dun wan myself to get in trouble especially i get the killer panel OCP(Prof Othman Che puan)...

i know he will ask alot of tricky question regarding my psm...
yes,i get to finish my 8pages technical paper...
anyway thought of still got something to correct about...

or i m low in my confidence regarding d paper?ha...
jus finish training cycling in impian emas...
quite satisfied with my performance of the 30k route...

Relieve but not fully

after so long didnt on d blog...
now i only can really focus type out something here...

PSM or FYP is one of my headache...
since the early of March...

i cant handle the software which require me to use...
PICADY...
a transportation and traffic engineering software to analyse unsignalised junction...

all the data i key in...
the software just 'dun want' to come out of what i expected...

since i am doing manual calculation as well...
after all since last week...
my big big stone inside my heart been put down...

coz i get to noe y d software dun wan to come out with the results...
most importantly i can focus back my usual step for chapter 4 Analysis...

last week joining Giant UTM MTB quest...
being 1st time 2 go inside such cross country trail...
i didnt put much target for d race...

as long i finish strongly and safely then it would be far enuff...
initially target jian liang...
one of the season mtb rider from UTM...

i noe his strength be4 this...
anyway i cant keep with his pace after half way of the race which is around 15km+
my front target keep fading...

thanks god again as i finish below top20...
5min behind him...
which i think ok la...

overall organizer are doing fine job being 1st timer organizing such race...
if they still organize it next year...surely i will join...

New external hardisk

well its been long i didnt use any back up hardisk...
but not this time anymore...
coz its in my final year...

i have some important project to finish up...
somehow i just scare that my 3 year old laptop will corrupt anytime...
inside it just a mere storage of 80Gb...

so i decide to get a larger storage external hard drive...
after surveying and asking some question from friend...
i thought that Seagate is 1 of the best choice out there...

for sure the price is the "best " also lo...
anyway i went to the nearby/Taman U computer shop which is Cytech...
and they are selling quite a expensive price for that brand hard drive...

then fren recommend me go to Navotech...
there i saw Buffalo,Western Digital,Samsung,Seagate...
yet i can saw that WD price is most affordable...

for 500Gb hard drive i got it at rm175 same price with Buffalo...
while seagate the price higher for around rm10+...
and i ask the shop owner as well...

he said WD is one of the best out there...
well...i never use hard drive so juts trust him ba...
as i noe Seagate and WD both are the best out there...

The WD Element version is what i got...
in fact only 465Gb i got inside it...
